Electrical Technician - All Shifts
Morgantown, PA | $30-$38/hour | Direct Hire
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join a growing manufacturing operation in Morgantown, PA. This is a hands-on role focused on electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, electronic controls, testing, and equipment repair.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment, circuits, and controls
- Diagnose equipment issues and minimize production downtime
- Troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and some Siemens PLCs
- Read, interpret, and update electrical/electronic schematics
- Test and repair circuit boards, components, and solid-state circuitry
- Perform equipment calibrations, adjustments, and functional testing
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, meggers, amprobes, capacitance/inductance meters, and other electronic test equipment
- Perform soldering and electronic component repairs
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical changes and repairs
- Support multiple maintenance priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Electronics preferred
- 2+ years of electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience; Allen-Bradley preferred
- Strong understanding of solid-state circuitry
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics
- Strong soldering skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
