Pay: $27.80-$34.80/hr + $1.00/hr shift differential
Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM, Monday-Friday
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM-6:30 AM, Monday-Friday
- Weekends as needed

About the Role
A large, established food manufacturing company in Milan, MO is hiring Industrial Electricians for 2nd and 3rd shift. You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and controls across the production floor, working hand-in-hand with the maintenance mechanics. Experienced electricians are encouraged to apply, and so are entry-level candidates with a solid electrical foundation. Training and support toward electrical licensing are provided.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment, including systems up to 480V
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs, controls, sensors, and HMIs
- Install, wire, and maintain AC/DC motors, single-phase and three-phase motors, and motor controls
- Install and maintain power distribution, wiring, and communication cables
- Support maintenance mechanics with electrical troubleshooting on production and packaging equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and components
- Read blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Maintain and repair scale systems
- Review work orders and plan tools, parts, and time needed for repairs
- Keep maintenance records and logs
- Follow safety, lockout/tagout, food safety, and GMP practices
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance setting
- Experience working with systems up to 480V
- Comfortable using voltmeters, multimeters, and continuity testers
- Knowledge of AC/DC power, motor wiring, and single- and three-phase motors
- PLC troubleshooting experience (troubleshooting matters more than programming)
Nice to Have
- Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLC experience
- Experience with Siemens, GE, or Ignition platforms
- Familiarity with Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Modbus, or TCP/IP
- Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
- Food processing, packaging, refrigeration, or boiler control experience
- Journeyman license or formal electrical training

What You'll Do
You'll help keep the production facility operating safely and efficiently by:
Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic equipment up to 480V
Diagnosing electrical controls, sensors, HMIs, and Allen Bradley PLCs
Installing and maintaining AC/DC motors, single-phase and three-phase motors, and motor controls
Troubleshooting power distribution, wiring, and communication cables
Supporting maintenance mechanics with electrical troubleshooting on production and packaging equipment
Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
Reading electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
Maintaining and repairing scale systems
Reviewing work orders and determining the tools, parts, and time required for repairs
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and logs
Following safety, lockout/tagout, GMP, and food safety procedures
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience in industrial, manufacturing, or maintenance environments
Experience working with electrical systems up to 480V
