The ideal candidate understands industrial maintenance and knows what technicians need before they start a job - parts, tools, labor, drawings, procedures, safety requirements, and enough time to complete the work correctly.
This is not a production planning or logistics scheduling position. Previous experience supporting industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability, or manufacturing equipment is strongly preferred.

- Develop detailed job plans before work is assigned to technicians
- Determine required labor, estimated hours, parts, tools, materials, and equipment
- Make sure necessary parts and materials are available before scheduled work begins
- Prepare job packages using manuals, schematics, drawings, parts information, and procedures
- Manage and prioritize the maintenance backlog
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with Production to minimize equipment downtime
- Maintain and improve preventive maintenance schedules
- Review PM frequencies and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement
- Plan equipment rebuilds, installations, modifications, shutdowns, and maintenance projects
- Review completed work orders for accurate labor, parts, repair details, and follow-up work
- Identify incomplete repairs and make sure follow-up work is properly scheduled
- Maintain equipment history and asset information within the CMMS
- Track repeat equipment failures and recurring maintenance problems
- Support Root Cause Analysis and equipment reliability initiatives
- Coordinate outside contractors and vendors when needed
- Work closely with MRO to ensure spare parts and maintenance materials are available
- Coordinate activities across Maintenance, Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Safety
- Track maintenance KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
What We're Looking For
- Previous industrial maintenance, maintenance planning, scheduling, or reliability experience
- Experience supporting maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment
- Experience using a CMMS or computerized maintenance work-order system
- Understanding of preventive maintenance programs
- Knowledge of industrial production equipment
- Ability to develop detailed maintenance job plans
- Experience managing and prioritizing a maintenance backlog
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple maintenance activities and priorities
